The rollout of Nike’s LeBron 16 is in full swing. After debuting in a special “Harlem Fashion Row” edition for NYFW and then appearing in a clean “Fresh Bred” that boasted a striking lion graphic complete with glowing red eyes on the heel, the futuristic hoops sneaker has been unveiled in a makeup any long-time LeBron follower will be familiar with: a rough and rugged “Oreo.” The Battleknit upper is covered in the standard Oreo-style combination of black, white, and grey for a flecked look — but this Oreo pair is much more than just a classic colorway.
Each LeBron 16 aims to tell a story, and this pair showcases the King’s roots and support system as it nods to both his hometown of Akron and his three beloved children. The right shoe’s heel features a “330” hit — the Akron area code — while the left shoe boasts a “BBZ” embellishment, nodding to the King’s three kids: Bryce, Bronny, and Zhuri. A rich leather tongue with chenille embroidery hits adds a touch of premium flair, as does the leather heel cage and canvas heel strap. LeBron’s classic Dunkman logo also appears both on the outsole and the shoebox with a modern-day twist: he’s wearing the 16s instead of the Zoom Generation. Enjoy a first look at these new LeBron James kicks below, and keep it locked here for all breaking news on the LeBron 16.

Ahead of the official release of the LeBron 16, Nike partnered up with Harlem’s Fashion Row for a special take on the King’s upcoming signature shoe.
Celebrating LeBron James‘ fashion focus outside of basketball, the platform for multicultural fashion designers drew inspiration from the recognizable design of Hermès Birkin Bags. Influenced by the bag’s buckle system, the cream-colored look features a tan leather buckle ankle strap, complete with a LeBron-branded gold plate. Another notable design element is the lion logo at the heel, which has been embedded into the lacing system of the shoe and further exaggerated to give off more of a 3D appeal.
LeBron James has unveiled the Nike LeBron 16 earlier this week. The new campaign will have similar roots as last year with the debut during the upcoming New York Fashion Week.
The LEBRON 16 HFR, which stands for Harlem’s Fashion Row, is something to behold. It’s a special design that combines the world of performance and fashion. Harlem’s Fashion Row is a platform for multicultural fashion designers.
The shoe sports what seems to be a new rendition of the “Ghost” colorway equipped with a buckle ankle strap. The regular LEBRON XVI comes with the lionhead logo on the back of the shoe, but on the HFR pair it is used as part of the lacing system. The laces go through the lion’s mouth. That’s sick!
Stay tuned for more updates once available. Be on the lookout between September 6th and September 14th.

This is also true for the Nike LeBron Watch program which sees the LeBron 15 get covered in iconic colorways of Nike’s storied past. Today Nike surprised us all by releasing the Nike LeBron 15 Red Diamond Turf which if you remember LeBron debuted way back in April.
The Nike LeBron 15 Diamond Turf that pays tribute to Deion Sanders’ Diamond Turf trainer, already made its debut and recently LeBron James just confirmed that an alternate red pair will be dropping this summer. Discussions regarding LeBron James’ fifteenth signature shoe with Nike grow louder and louder as we near the shoe’s late-October release. The shouts waver in both directions, in favor of and opposed to. The latter, of course, is already turning towards the former, given closer looks at the most intriguing style yet – the Nike LeBron 15 “Floral.”
First seen on James himself during a modeling sesh in the Kith Sport New York Fashion Week presentation, this iteration features zipped construction that essentially splits the shoe in two. Basking in gold, both the zippers and the track in which they set course, juxtaposition comes at the hands of embroidered floral print layered on each side of the aforementioned midsection break. When unzipped the centermost point of the shoe reads “Long Live The King,” an ode to James’ long tenured and royal moniker.
